Melbourne Dolphin Swimming

Learn how to surf the right way, the fun way, first time.

Lessons cover the following aspects of surfing:

Standing up, correct paddling and positioning, choosing and catching waves, safe surfing / water practises and building confidence in the surf.

Cost: $33 per student (for every 10 students a teacher participates for free). Cost is inclusive of all equipment and surfing tuition. Cost includes GST.

Please note: a 5% discount applied on all surfing lessons if booked in conjunction with a "Dolphin & Seal Swim"

Duration: 2 hours

Minimum numbers: Minimum of 10 Students

Maximum numbers: 32 (including teachers)

Meeting Point: Ocean Grove Main Beach (Unless otherwise negotiated - we can use other surf locations if weather is unfavourable).

Relevant Staff Qualifications:

• Fully trained and highly experienced Surf instructors
• Current Community Bronze Medallion
• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
• CPR & Level 2 First Aid
• Most staff have tertiary qualification in Marine Biology and/or Education.
• For every 8 participants, one Surf instructor will be provided.

Seal & Dolphin Swims

Departing every morning and afternoon, this fun-filled 3.5 hour trip includes:

• Learn to snorkel at Popes Eye (Port Phillip Heads Marine National Park)
• Australian Fur Seals
• Bottlenose Dolphins *
• Onboard activities include relaxing on boom net, viewing from roof, rope rides, duck spas and roof jumps!
• All equipment supplied - no experience necessary
• Light refreshments
• Great photo opportunities
• Qualified Life Saving Victoria approved snorkel instructors

*NOTE: Dolphins are wild animals in their own habitat. Although every effort is made, we cannot guarantee a sighting every time.
