Because this is an open ocean experience the age limit for children participating in the swimming with dolphins activity is 5 years of age.
Children need to have water confidence and it is an advantage if they can swim or have snorkelled before.
However with the agreement of the skipper and crew, if conditions are deemed suitable under the age of 5 years may swim if accompanied in the water by a parent or guardian.
Children Watching:
The age limit for this activity is normally 5 years of age. However with the agreement of the skipper and crew, if conditions are deemed suitable, children under the age of 5 years, may be permitted to take the tour.
However they must be supervised by a parent on board at all times.
No charge will be made for these children unless they swim, then full children’s fare will be charged.
Management reserve the right to restrict the age limit of those participating on the tour if sea conditions are such that it is not suitable for young children.
Seasickness:
Because cruising and swimming takes place in the open ocean, participants must realise that sea conditions vary and can change very quickly.
If you suffer from motion sickness, it is advisable that you take something to prevent seasickness. You must also realise that the time spent out on the ocean is approximately 3.5 to 4 hours.
Even with the help of medication, there is no guarantee against the effects of motion sickness.
Seasickness is not grounds for seeking a refund for the tour.
Only in emergency situations will a tour be aborted due to chronic sea sickness.
Sea / Weather Conditions:
Naturally all tours are dependent on suitable sea and weather conditions. Management reserve the right to cancel tours if these conditions are deemed unsuitable.
Please be advised that due to permit restrictions we may not be able to automatically forward you onto the next available scheduled tour.
Sea conditions can change quickly and although experience and meteorological information allow us to make very accurate assessments well before departure there may be occasions when tours are made at very short notice
Sea Conditions vary in different locations throughout the tour and under different tidal conditions Sea All reserve the right to cancel or proceed with a tour based on experience and the latest meteorological information.
